I am a licensed mental health counselor associate (LMHCA) in the state of Washington. I attended the University of Puget Sound where I earned my Master of Education in school counseling in 2014. I also received dual Bachelor of Art degrees in psychology and sociology from the University of Washington in 2000.
I started working in social services in 2001. I worked as a youth counselor and case manager in a residential setting with at risk and homeless youth for 5 years. I then worked nine years as a case manager in a foster care program that served unaccompanied refugee children and youth. After obtaining my Master’s degree, I working as an elementary school counselor for 7 1/2 years before pursuing private practice.
Seeking help is not always easy. But finding the strength to do so is one step in the direction of healing. I will create a nonjudgmental space for you to work on healing while you build healthy coping skills to deal with the difficult aspects of life.
